ISGF IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A SOFTWARE ENGINEER, JAVASCRIPT FOR ONE OF OUR CLIENTS LOCATED IN BOSTON, MA

Our client is an internet service and technology provider with a passion for making internet usage simple and accessible for those who need it. As a Software Engineer, JavaScript, you will be responsible for the development of building complex networking applications, tools, and third-party API integrations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• JavaScript language and specification understanding
• 2+ years’ experience using core platform APIs in Node.js building distributed production applications
• Active Github account with relevant JavaScript/Node.js work
• Strong knowledge of TCP, UDP, and other networking protocols
• 1+ years’ experience with git and Github
• TDD experience
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Node.js applications (REST, HTTPS, TCP, UDP)
• Execute and support test suites
• Use MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, (plus other NoSQL databases) to participate on data architecture and applications
• Agile environment, provide leadership
