  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Manage day-to-day activities of the Commercial Property market facing group, including:  

    • Monitoring and analysis of customer trends,  
    • Utilization analysis of current products,  
    • Segmentation of current and prospective customers,  
    • Own developing and executing strategies for current and prospective customers that allow the company to achieve its objectives, 
    • Development of pricing proposals and customer presentations,  
    • Identifying product enhancements, 
    • Building client and vendor relationships, and  
    • Implementing marketing initiatives in support of driving revenue growth within Commercial Property 
    • Lead the product portion of sales opportunities to ensure effective positioning of the solution’s value proposition and customer comfort with the product capabilities to support the ambitious growth goals of the product line 
    • Liaise between product colleagues, finance, marketing, and sales to ensure streamlined messaging driven by customer needs and how existing and emerging Verisk capabilities can solve these needs 
    • Provide industry thought leadership through white papers, articles, presentations, conferences, and customer conversations 
    • Drive revenue goals for the growth of Commercial Property business
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years commercial insurance product, or underwriting experience required
    • Understands the basics of technology and the convergence of software, and data in support of automated product delivery 
    • Quantitative background with a focus on high quality data and analytics 
    • Prior product development/management experience preferred 
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.  Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with internal staff and external stakeholders 
    • Self-starter comfortable digging into the details of a challenging quantitative problem to solve customer needs 
    • Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving and negotiating skills; business creativity is a must 
    • Some travel required
