ISO 9001 Quality Auditor@ Colorado Springs, Colorado (1099 Contractor)
Responsibilities:
Conduct a manufacturing process audit focused on precision sheet metal fabrication for BPR Medical components. Scope includes:
Verifying process documentation, controls, and outputs against client drawings
Assessing production flow, in-process checks, calibration/maintenance, operator competency, and traceability
Observing live production runs of BPR’s parts
Reporting findings with clear recommendations for compliance and improvement.
Technical & Industry Experience:
Minimum 5+ years in manufacturing process auditing, preferably with precision sheet metal fabrication or precision machining/metalworking experience.
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (IRCA or equivalent) strongly preferred
Strong background in manufacturing process audits, ideally within precision sheet metal fabrication.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 auditing methodology and its application in production environments.
Proven experience in reviewing process flow, operator competency, calibration, and traceability.
Ability to conduct Manufacturing Process audits with flexibility to proceed even if the Control Plan and FMEA are not available beforehand, but potentially accessible on-site.
Precision sheet metal fabrication, machining, or electroforming/laser machining
Medical device or high-precision component manufacturing experience preferred

Project Duration: 2 man-days (inclusive of report writing) covering up to 5 processes. This may extend to 3 man-days if more than 5 processes are included (current need)

Shift Hours: Standard weekday business hours (to align with factory operations and live production schedule (current need)
