    Job Description

    CAREERSMART CURRENTLY HAS AN EDUCATION SERVICES ASSISTANT OPENING IN OUR BREA OFFICE.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for providing administrative support to CareerSmart Learning (CSL) educational programs, with extra emphasis on the Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) program and direct interface with students.

    • Perform administrative tasks related to course and instructor accreditation approvals and renewals, issuing certificates for course completion, and live-classroom support, including set-up, student registration, and customer service. Interact with customers, students, learners, on all levels, and with colleagues in a polite, courteous, and enthusiastic manner, representing the CSL brand.

    • Assist in completing the paperwork and/or electronic filing of documents required for instructor and/or course pre-approvals with the relative accrediting organization at the direction of the Supervisor.

    • Maintain electronic and paper audit files consistent with CSL policies and procedures and consistent with accrediting organizations’ requirements.

    • Plan events related to and perform administrative tasks related to live classroom delivery of education.

    • Process payments for class registration or other CSL products in-person, by phone, and/or electronically, creating invoices and/or payment links as needed

    • Completes all functions in a professional manner consistent with CSL’ Brand/Values and standards of quality and protocols.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Strong computer skills/literacy and internet proficiency.
    • Demonstrated ability to work responsibly and independently.
    • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to be extremely attentive to details.
    • Trustworthiness in all areas.
    • Courteous and professional communications in all situations with the ability to exhibit confidence, while maintaining a polite interaction.
    • Excellent English skills with exemplary writing and speaking ability.
    • Proactive problem solving skills.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience with Windows and MS Office 2010. Specifically: Excel, Word, and Power Point.
    • Experience leading professional conversations and professional written/email communications/interactions.
    • Experience in a customer service role with positive interactions with customers.

    PREFERRED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Experience providing administrative support
