    Position Summary

    The Business Analyst (BA) will partner with the business to help them improve their processes and systems. They conduct research and analysis to come up with solutions to business problems and help to introduce these systems to the relevant stakeholders and act as a communication bridge between IT and the business stakeholders.

    The BA will perform the task of understanding business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing, and documenting requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders.

    Key responsibilities:

    ·Document existing business system processes and design optimized business processes, based on best-practices and available technology innovation.

    ·Design and implement integrations between systems, including workflow and other process engineering.

    ·Design comprehensive reporting, dashboard, and business intelligence service offerings.

    ·Develop and write user process manuals. Train and support end users in new procedures.

    ·Create and oversee QA test plans.

    ·Committed use of IT ticketing system, as needed.

    ·Ensures systems data results by conducting system audits of technologies and processes implemented or designed.

    ·Provides technical expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, and conversions or data maintenance.

    ·Develops standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written policies and guidance to IT staff and to end-users.

    ·Maintains a strong commitment to written documentation, including but not limited to process flow documentation, internal architecture documentation, system and user manuals, and documentation of modifications and upgrades (change control).

    ·Communicates regularly with management and all users of information services and systems.

    ·Supports the organization in its objective to follow all standards, policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.

    ·Responsible for equipment replacement planning and day to day management of the company's third party IT managed services provider.

    Requirements:

    ·The ideal candidate for this role should have 7+ years of experience in Information Technology or similar role, must have great verbal and written communicators, be a tactful diplomat, problem solver, thinker and analyzers – with the ability to engage with stakeholders to understand and respond to their needs in rapidly changing business environments.

    ·Progressive technology experience with at least 3 years of business analyst or ERP implementation consulting experience. Experience with Vista ERP, Salesforce CRM or related software platforms is preferred.

    ·Self-directed, prioritizes and balances workload according to business goals and requirements, complementing company-mandated projects with self-identified improvement projects as appropriate.

    ·Keeps apprised of technological advances, continually assessing its potential impact on or benefit to the company. Looks for opportunities to influence and help others to change or improve standards, policies, procedures, and work plans to enable high-performance.

    Education:

    ·A 4-year Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent education and experience, along with demonstrated analysis experience.

    ·7+ years of relevant functional experience

    ·3+ years of experience in a BA or similar role

    ·Project Management experience is preferred

    Location amp; Travel Requirements:

    Available for up to 25% travel within the assigned territory, as needed. This is an on-site position in Concord, NC. Options for remote work will be considered after six (6) months of outstanding performance, the candidate’s experience level, and subject to management approval.
