    · Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

    · Partner with business and IT leadership to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.

    · Lead AI adoption roadmap aligned with enterprise applications and data governance.

    · Facilitate discovery sessions for AI-specific requirements.

    · Analyze processes for AI and automation opportunities.

    · Serve as project lead for AI initiatives.

    · Create end-user training and adoption materials and strategies

    · Establish monitoring of performance of AI models and automations.

    · Lead cross-functional AI working groups.

    · Ensure AI activities follow cybersecurity, data classification, and IAM requirements.

    · Develop and propose IT solutions that align with business objectives and improve operational efficiency.

    · Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

    · Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

    · Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.

    · Conduct testing and validation of new systems to ensure they meet business requirements and function correctly.

    · Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use new systems and technologies.

    · Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and IT solutions.

    This salary exempt role is a part of our Corporate IT team and reports to the Enterprise Applications Manager Sr.


    Required experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in business process modeling and data analysis tools.
    • Knowledge of IT systems and software development lifecycle.
    • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
    • Ability to facilitate discovery sessions with business stakeholders, translate problems into AI‑amenable opportunities, and quantify value (efficiency, quality, cost, safety).
    • Skilled at prompt design, grounding with enterprise content (SharePoint/OneDrive), approval flows, and safe patterns for human‑in‑the‑loop.
    • Working knowledge of data classification/labeling, protected data handling, and privacy-by-design; able to incorporate these into AI requirements and acceptance criteria.
    • Process Mapping & Redesign for AI/Automation: Proficient in current/future‑state mapping, failure‑mode thinking, exception handling, and change impacts—especially in manufacturing/operations contexts.
    • Comfortable with SQL and BI (e.g., joins, data quality checks, measures/KPIs) to validate datasets, interpret model outputs, and communicate insights to non‑technical audiences.

    Preferred additional skills and abilities:

    • Experience with QAD ERP.
    • Experience with report writing data mining with ability and strength to learn new tools in this area.
    • Familiarity with financial, distribution and manufacturing processes and industry standards.
    • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
    • Ability to analyze complex business problems and propose effective IT solutions.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
    • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI Service, Cognitive Search/RAG patterns, Synapse/Data Factory/Logic Apps for enterprise‑grade integrations.
    • Ability to specify/consume REST APIs, work with JSON/CSV payloads, and understand basics of EDI flows that support ERP and partner integrations.
    • Familiarity with OEE/SPC/PPM, basic statistics (confidence intervals, control limits), and quality incident classification to frame AI use cases in plants
    • Proven ability to coach SMEs, lead cross‑functional working groups, and communicate risk/benefit tradeoffs clearly
    • Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals, Azure Data Fundamentals, Power Platform App Maker/Developer, or Agile Product Owner/Scrum Master
