  • Responsibilities

    Purpose:

    A cross functional role that focuses on capturing and understanding the business requirements at a user story level. Participates and collaborates on an Agile development team. Understands the overall business flows by working with Product Owners, subject matter experts (SMEs) and business teams on a regular basis. Defines improvements to business processes and products. Assists decision-makers in gathering information in order to make informed decisions. Collaborates with Product Owners and Quality Assurance (QA) to identify and write the detailed requirements of test cases. Creates and maintains business and product artifacts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Works under occasional supervision, referring only unusual cases to others.

    • Uses independent judgment to handle moderately complex issues and problems.

    • Possesses comprehensive general knowledge of subject matter to make decisions on various cases working independently.

    • Opportunity for errors may be serious and may involve loss of productivity.

    • Routine communication requires tact with both inside and outside contacts to obtain information, cooperation, and resolve basic issues.

    • Regularly works with confidential data.

    • Two or more years of work experience.

    Work Requirements, Experience, Education, and Skills:

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

    Required Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) 2-3 years related work experience including business processes

    • Knowledge of technology testing methods and procedures

    • Personal computer and related spreadsheet and data manipulation software

    • Experience with business analysis or project management

    • Data Stack: Snowflake, SQL Server, Python

    • Cloud, AI, & ML: Azure AI services, TensorFlow, scikit-learn

    Preferred Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of property casualty rating and policy coverages and endorsements

    • Insurance coverages and rating schemes and insurance products

    • Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration

    • Experience working in application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally

    • Company and Department practices and procedures

    • SQL knowledge

    Skills:

    Excellent oral and written communication with all levels of the organization and individuals outside of the organization, including vendors Computer proficiency

    • Testing techniques and skills

    • Documentation

    • Ability to write and break down User Stories, Test Cases, Acceptance Criteria

    • Advanced problem solving skills

    • Strong team facilitation skills
