Job Title: IT Consultant - Engineering Geospatial Eco-System Development

Location: New York City Area

Consultant tasks for Application Management/Maintenance may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Engineering Geospatial Eco-System Development
Manage, analyze, and visualize geographic data for the Engineering or the Agency.
a. Gather geographical data from various public/private sources including satellite imagery, surveys, and engineering or agency datasets.
b. Create maps and visualizations to represent geographic data. May include but not limited to thematic maps, 3D visualizations, and interactive web maps.
c. Develop custom GIS applications or integration tools to address specific needs for Engineering or agency in desktop or mobile solutions. Including usage of Esri GIS solution suite, Nearmap, VertiGIS and programming in languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc. to create custom scripts, plugins, or web applications.
d. Ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of GIS data and analysis results through quality assurance processes.
e. Using GIS software Esri to analyze spatial data, identify patterns, trends, and relationships within the data.
