    Position Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced IT Contract Specialist to join our team in Newark, NJ. This role will be primarily in-person, with the potential for a hybrid schedule in the future. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT contracting, particularly with experience working with agencies in New York, New Jersey, or the Port Authority. This is a dynamic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support complex IT contract activities in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage IT contracts including software licensing, hardware procurement, consulting services, and support agreements.

    • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and applicable agency regulations (NY, NJ, Port Authority).

    • Serve as the point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal departments and external partners.

    • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams to manage contract lifecycle and performance.

    • Track key deliverables, deadlines, and renewal/expiration dates.

    • Support audits and reporting requirements related to contract performance and compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 5+ years of IT contract management experience , with a strong preference for candidates with prior experience working with NY or NJ state agencies or the Port Authority.

    • In-depth understanding of IT procurement practices, licensing models, and legal contract terminology.

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems is a plus.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
