    **This is a full-time 1099 contractor role payable at $28 per hour**

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused 3rd Shift LUHD/Factory IT Support Technician to join our onsite support team in a dynamic enterprise manufacturing environment. In this role, you will provide frontline IT support, handle user requests, and work closely with both your team and production personnel to ensure timely resolution of IT incidents affecting the factory floor.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide first-contact IT support for walk-up customers and incoming phone requests.

    • Create, manage, and resolve support tickets in accordance with service standards.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents on the production line in collaboration with team members.

    • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support teams when necessary.

    • Adapt to evolving customer needs and provide additional support as required.

    • Maintain clear documentation of incidents and solutions.

    • Deliver a high level of customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills.

    Technical Environment & Requirements

    • Enterprise Manufacturing Environment.

    • Foundational knowledge of enterprise IT systems and factory floor support.

    • Previous experience in customer service and collaborative team environments.

    • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication abilities.

    • On-the-job training will be provided.

       

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    Technical Skills (Nice to Have):

    • ServiceNow

    • SCCM

    • Active Directory

    • Microsoft 365

    Professional Experience:

    • IT Support or Help Desk roles.

    • Manufacturing or production environment exposure.

    • Customer service and team collaboration.

       

    Working Conditions

    • Work Schedule: 3rd Shift

    • Work Location: Onsite (Remote work is not available for this position).

    • Team-based support environment; collaboration is essential.

    • Local resource availability is not a requirement for this role.

       

    Qualifications

    • No formal certifications required.

    • Experience in IT or manufacturing sectors is preferred.

    • Strong customer service orientation and willingness to learn.

       

    Pay: $28 per hour

    Shift - 5-day shift S-R 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM
