Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Engineer to join our Information Technology team. The IT Intern will assist with technical support, system maintenance, and IT projects while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees (hardware, software, and network issues)
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other IT equipment
• Support system upgrades, patches, and updates
• Help maintain IT documentation and inventory records
• Monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance issues
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives and data backup procedures
• Participate in IT projects and process improvement initiatives
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common office applications
• Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
