Responsible for assisting with the design of the required IT framework for TIBA Projects. Will be responsible for configuring, testing, and delivering the IT Framework for projects. Will assist with Customer Training of IT related hardware and software during Project Install.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
As the IT Field Technician you will be required to perform the following at a minimum:
1. Supports install projects to help ensure they are delivered on budget and on schedule.
2. Able to understand customer (or RFP) requirements, and design an IT infrastructure that meets them.
3. Assist with identifying and recommending best hardware/services to meet system design.
4. Setup servers and network devices in accordance to the system design and RFP requirements.
5. Work with IT/DEV team to ensure the latest technology is researched, tested, and integrated.
6. Assist with network support at customers location for both Install and Service (when escalated).
7. Lead in IT portion of all customer acceptance type tests related to projects.
8. Lead IT related customer training sessions in both the classroom and on site (when needed).
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
1. Installs run efficiently and finish on schedule and on budget.
2. Delivered IT Framework meets all Customer/RFP Requirements.
3. All credit card related tasks are completed in a QIR Compliant manner (obtain QIR Certification).
4. All hardware and software licenses are current and legal at time of Project delivery.
5. New projects are up to date with the latest technology and services.
6. Customers are able to effectively navigate the software programs when a new system is installed.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION :
4 year degree in computer related field, or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license.
Background check.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE :
Strong knowledge of server and network hardware/software.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure design.
Strong knowledge of redundant IT system installation.
Understanding of basic software programs.
Knowledge of basic IT laws and license requirements.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Previous IT experience required.
