IT Healthcare Project Manager Columbia, South Carolina (Onsite)

Required:

Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

3+ years of experience in project management in a healthcare, insurance, OR information technology environment.

3+ years of experience working with SharePoint and other typical project management tools, including Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access and Excel.

Strong project management skills

Excellent people and leadership skills

Strong background in project management within a healthcare insurance information technology environment

Project planning experience, including effort estimation and resource allocation

Superb written and oral communication skills

Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis

Preferred Skills

Experience in Medicaid or other healthcare claims system(s) IT projects

Experience working with risk management, including risk triggers and managing risks to project plan tasks.

Specific Skills:

Expertise in project management methodologies and lifecycle

Strong command of SharePoint, MS Project, and Visio

Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills

Skilled in risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, and project tracking
