What we expect from you |

As an audio\visual systems engineer, designing and coordinating advanced AV systems for our not-for-profit client base is the primary objective.

Roles will include:

Understanding and documenting client needs, goals and objectives

System design of low voltage systems, primarily advanced audio/visual Design of structured cabling, telecommunications and network infrastructure shall also be performed

Drafting rack elevations, line diagrams, floor plans and elevations

Creating system bills of material and associated project budgeting

Design, maintain and monitor project plans and gannt charts

Communicating on a regular basis with architects, engineers and vendors for proper design and coordination of multiple large-scale projects

Develop specification, RFP, scope of work and design documents for low voltage systems

Ensure compliance to engineering standards, codes, regulatory requirements and specifications

Attend job site meetings, direct contractors and provide project management reports Perform onsite QA\QC testing of systems

What you will need to succeed |

Qualifying candidates should possess the following qualifications: Studies of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent engineering degree

Minimum 3 years audio \ visual system design experience; including IP distributed audio, large-venue AV, multi-room, multi-zone matrix systems and video conferencing technologies

Professional communication skills

Organizational skill set and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (local and limited long-distance)
