A rapidly growing logistics and services company headquartered in Tampa is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join its expanding technology team. This position is essential in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company’s core IT systems. With a mix of on-premise, cloud, and distributed environments across the U.S., this role provides the opportunity to make a direct impact on critical business operations.
If you are someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys building reliable systems, and wants to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking IT team, this role is for you. This is an onsite, direct-hire opportunity that offers competitive pay, benefits, and the chance to grow within a company that values innovation and teamwork.
The Role You’ll Play
As the IT Infrastructure Analyst, you’ll be at the center of maintaining and optimizing the systems that keep the business running every day. You’ll manage servers, networks, cloud platforms, and enterprise tools while also ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role is both strategic and hands-on — one day you might be optimizing virtual servers, and the next you’ll be troubleshooting connectivity issues for one of the company’s 80+ locations.
You’ll work directly with IT leadership and cross-functional managers, gaining exposure to high-impact projects while helping build the foundation for future IT growth.
In this role, you will:
Monitor, maintain, and optimize physical and virtual server environments (Windows/Linux).
Manage network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
Support cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Ensure infrastructure security through patching, monitoring, and compliance practices.
Manage Microsoft Exchange, Entra ID, and other enterprise software licenses.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues quickly and effectively.
Collaborate with IT support, application, and security teams to deliver seamless services.
Background Profile:
The ideal candidate is resourceful, technically skilled, and customer-focused. You’ll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly, and is motivated to build lasting, reliable solutions rather than just “quick fixes.”
3–5 years of IT infrastructure or systems administration experience.
Strong understanding of networking, server management, and cloud technologies.
Experience with Microsoft environments, Azure, VMware, and Office 365/Exchange.
Proven ability to research and resolve complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure, or Cisco CCNA
Experience with enterprise license management and/or HRIS/asset-tracking systems.
Background in mid-sized companies where resourcefulness and hands-on problem-solving are key.
