    About the Role:

    FACTS Advisory Inc., a boutique HR advisory firm serving financial institutions, has been retained to conduct a confidential search for this role on behalf of a U.S.-based financial institution client building a new presence in South Florida. Client identity will be disclosed to candidates who advance to the interview stage. The IT Infrastructure & Network Lead supports the Branch's technology infrastructure, including network connectivity, systems infrastructure, and infrastructure security, as part of building the Branch's technology environment from the ground up under its de novo license. As a First Line of Defense role, the position requires a seasoned subject matter expert (SME) with a large and deep scope within network and infrastructure, capable of managing multiple simultaneous end-to-end implementation workstreams and delivering against pre-determined timelines as the Branch builds its technology environment from the ground up. The position collaborates closely with the Chief Technology & Operations Officer (CTOO), the IT Enterprise Architecture Lead, and outsourced technology service providers, including the virtual CISO (vCISO).

    Responsibilities:

    Network & Infrastructure Support Install, configure, and maintain network and infrastructure components supporting the Branch's operations. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Support workstation, server, and infrastructure needs across the Branch. Assist in building out the Branch's technology infrastructure as part of its de novo platform build. Cloud & Systems Support Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure components used by the Branch. Assist with system deployments, configurations, and upgrades. Support integration of infrastructure with core banking and business applications. Infrastructure Security Support implementation of infrastructure security controls, including firewalls, access controls, and patch management. Escalate security concerns to the CTOO and the vCISO. Assist with infrastructure-related components of the Branch's information security program. D. Documentation & Support Maintain documentation of network and infrastructure configurations. Support internal audits and regulatory examinations related to IT infrastructure. Provide general technology support to Branch staff as needed. Authority & Independence The IT Infrastructure & Network Lead has authority to: Perform routine network and infrastructure maintenance within established procedures. Escalate infrastructure and security issues to the CTOO. Recommend improvements to network and infrastructure support processes.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience Significant, hands-on experience leading network and infrastructure functions, including experience delivering large-scale, end-to-end implementation projects under pre-determined timelines. Prior experience in banking or another highly regulated industry — or an industry frequently targeted by cyber threats — is required. Advanced Knowledge in networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, network segmentation); end-to-end infrastructure design, deployment, and systems support; Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and hybrid infrastructure environments.

    Familiarity with financial industry IT compliance and regulatory requirements is a plus

    Senior-level certification: Network+, Security+, CCNA, or equivalent . Experience in de novo or greenfield infrastructure builds. Experience or certification in infrastructure security. Applicants must have current work authorization in the United States. Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
