IT Infrastructure Project Manager
The ITIPM will be responsible for the quality and efficiency of the contract, to include both technical issues and businesses processes. The ITIPM will provide management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of this contract.. Some of the candidate's responsibilities will include:
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems
The ITIPM will has the authority to make decisions for the contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, and comments, the authority to commit the prime contractor’s organization, and be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
Over 10 years of Project Management experience in IT and network management
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a MUST
Experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing the contractor’s proposed methodologies and approach for a Large project or program similar in size, scope, and complexity to this contract (17+ FTE)
Experience with DoD networks and presenting recommendations and findings to senior Government officials.
