    Position Summary Mooring is seeking an IT Manager responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and end-user technology across the corporate office and regional locations. This position leads execution of IT projects — including software implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure expansions — while serving as the escalation point for advanced help desk support. This role works closely with the Company's managed service provider (MSP), regional offices, and internal departments to keep systems reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs

    Key Responsibilities

    Administer and maintain enterprise servers, networks, and cloud-based platforms in coordination with the Company's MSP, ensuring system reliability and performance

    Monitor system health and security, applying patches, updates, and configuration changes to maintain uptime and regulatory compliance

    Manage user accounts, access permissions, and device provisioning across the organization

    Coordinate new-employee onboarding to ensure appropriate system access and equipment are provisioned by the employee's start date

    Maintain a device inventory and lifecycle management process to procure new hardware and cycle out outdated equipment

    Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and infrastructure for operational clarity

    Lead IT projects including software implementations, system upgrades, and infrastructure expansions from planning through deployment

    Evaluate, recommend, and manage software acquisitions, licensing, and vendor contracts, overseeing implementation from initial needs assessment through full organizational rollout

    Oversee overall IT spending, including software and licensing costs, ensuring appropriate allocation and cost control

    Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for technology initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery

    Coordinate with department leaders and end users during software rollouts to ensure smooth adoption and minimal disruption

    Manage vendor and MSP relationships related to project scope, delivery, and support

    Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues that exceed first-line help desk capability

    Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution for advanced hardware, software, and network issues

    Ensure escalated support tickets are resolved within established service level agreements

    Monitor help desk performance metrics and identify recurring issues for permanent resolution

    Some travel may be required

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required

    Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive IT management or leadership experience

    Proven experience serving as the primary decision-maker for software purchasing and technology implementation, with a track record of successful adoption and delivery

    Strong background in systems integration, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and vendor oversight

    Proven success in leading cross-functional IT projects and delivering results

    Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or Microsoft/Cisco certifications preferred

    Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record
