    Position Overview Challenger Teamwear is seeking a hands-on IT Manager / Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role oversees network systems, servers, business applications, hardware, and user support while ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and efficient.

    This position requires a self-directed professional capable of independently managing day-to-day IT operations with minimal oversight, while coordinating with external vendors and service providers when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    Network & Infrastructure: Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN access, and monitor network performance and security.

    Server & Systems: Manage on-premise and cloud servers, system updates, patches, backups, disaster recovery, storage, and user authentication.

    Google Workspace Administration: Manage user accounts, email routing, domain authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), shared drives, permissions, and security settings.

    ERP Support: Administer and support ERP systems (currently SAGE 100), including access management, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.

    Website & Applications: Monitor website uptime and performance; resolve server errors and access issues; coordinate with hosting or development teams.

    Hardware & Workstations: Support desktops, laptops, warehouse and production workstations, monitors, printers, and peripherals.

    Telecommunications: Manage Zoom Phone configuration, call routing, voicemail, desk phones, and remote access.

    Security: Maintain endpoint security, patching, access controls, and work with third-party security providers on monitoring and incident response.

    Vendor Management: Act as primary contact for IT vendors, evaluate new technologies, and manage IT procurement and lifecycle.

    End-User Support: Provide technical support, on-boarding setup, access management, and maintain IT documentation.

    Required Qualifications

    5+ years IT systems administration or IT management experience

    Strong network infrastructure troubleshooting skills

    Experience with Google Workspace administration

    ERP system support experience (SAGE or similar)

    Server, backup, and endpoint management experience

    Familiarity with website hosting environments

    VoIP phone system support

    Ability to independently manage IT operations

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience as a primary/sole IT administrator

    Experience supporting warehouse or production environments

    Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)

    Experience coordinating with third-party IT security providers.
