This role combines hands-on system and network management with leadership across cybersecurity standards—ensuring uptime, user support, and full adherence to federal security frameworks.

You’ll play a key role in protecting sensitive data, maintaining a high-performance IT environment, and guiding the organization through compliance with evolving standards like CMMC and NIST 800-171.

    Why This Role Stands Out:

    • Mission-critical work: Support teams building AI-driven national security platforms.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Manage all internal IT systems and infrastructure—networks, devices, software, and employee support.

    • Oversee endpoint management, system configurations, internet/network reliability, and vendor coordination.

    • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, hardware procurement, and employee onboarding.

    • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, manage patches and updates, and respond to security incidents.

    • Train staff on security protocols and support ongoing cybersecurity education.

    • Drive compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 frameworks, including documentation and audit prep.

    • Manage the configuration and provisioning of laptops, software, and access cards.

    • Automate OS and security upgrades to ensure full compliance across all endpoints.

    • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring tech alignment with organizational needs.

    What You Bring:

    • U.S. Citizenship (required).

    • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

    • 5+ years in IT operations or systems administration, including leadership responsibilities.

    • Strong knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint management tools.

    • Hands-on experience managing internal IT systems and responding to security incidents.

    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity standards, especially CMMC and NIST 800-171.

    • Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, or CCNA.

    • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills—especially with non-technical audiences.

    • Experience with Apple hardware and macOS support.

    Bonus Points For:

    • Background in startup or high-growth tech environments.

    • Experience managing third-party IT vendors.

    • Previous role supporting or implementing CMMC frameworks.
