    M&A IT Technical Project Manager

    Location: Santa Clara Office - Hybrid Number of Positions: 1

    The M&A IT Technical Project Manager leads hands-on technical execution for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures from deal closing through post-merger integration. You will own the full scope of IT infrastructure integration driving seamless Day 1 employee onboarding, network interconnectivity, employee collaboration tools (Google workspace, Slack, Asana etc.) migration/consolidations, and application/tools rationalization.

    In this role, you will partner closely with Corporate Development, Information Security, IT Infrastructure, and business leaders to execute flawless cutovers, eliminate redundant tech stacks, build unified IT reporting, and ensure zero disruption to day-to-day operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Day 1 Onboarding & Employee Experience

    Execute end-to-end Day 1 IT Onboarding Plans for acquired employees, ensuring immediate access to critical hardware, identity systems, and productivity tools.

    Manage hardware logistics, image provisioning, credential distribution, and temporary access bridges to maximize Day 1 user productivity.

    Coordinate with Global IT teams to ensure seamless Day 1 onboarding execution.

    1. Network & Infrastructure Integration

    Lead network integration initiatives, establishing secure interconnectivity between corporate sites, data centers, and cloud environments (IPSec VPNs, SD-WAN, firewall rules, and DNS routing).

    Evaluate target infrastructure architecture and oversee network hardware consolidation, Wi-Fi standardization, and VoIP/telephony cutovers.

    Coordinate local network discovery, subnet collision resolution, and perimeter security alignment before enabling cross-entity traffic.

    1. Collaboration & Workspace Migrations (Google, Slack, Asana, Jira etc.)

    Plan and execute cross-domain Google Workspace migrations (Drive, Gmail, Shared Drives, Groups, Calendar mapping) using automated migration tools.

    Lead Slack workspace consolidations and migrations, including channel mapping, user identity matching, message/file history retention, and bot/webhook re-configurations.

    Oversee change management and user communications to guide employees smoothly through new collaboration toolsets.

    1. Application Rationalization & Data/Reporting Consolidation

    Lead application rationalization audits across both entities to identify overlapping SaaS tools, redundant licenses, and high-risk shadow IT.

    Architect and drive sunset plans for legacy software while overseeing data migration into target core applications.

    1. Project Governance & Vendor Management

    Maintain detailed project roadmaps, dependency matrices, risk registers, and budget tracking for all infrastructure workstreams.

    Oversee technical vendors, managed service providers (MSPs), and migration software specialists.

    Deliver regular status updates and risk assessments to executive sponsors and integration steering committees.

    Required Qualifications & Competencies

    7+ years of program management experience in infrastructure, network, compute or cloud operations

    Demonstrated consistent ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver technical solutions while mitigating or removing obstacles

    Excellent communication skills, problem solving, conflict resolution management, active listening, time management and interpersonal skills

    Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong foundational understanding of enterprise applications, infrastructure, information security, and operations

    Hands-on expertise working with Agile/Scrum methodologies including agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana)

    A self-starter that uses great judgment to keep programs and projects moving forward and completed on target

    Highly collaborative team player that is comfortable providing and receiving open, real-time feedback to continuously up-level team performance

    SF Bay Area candidates need to be in the office 3 days/week.

    Education

    Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field with tech company experience preferred
