    We are seeking an experienced IT Network Engineer to join our team! You will resolve issues and manage projects for computer, server, software, and network related issues for our clients.
    Paid – Full-time

    The main role of a Network Engineer is to assist INSI clients with a wide range of IT-related issues and managing new system installs. This role requires administering upgrades, maintaining backups, checking anti-virus, monitoring alerts from client servers, installing hardware, troubleshooting of IT issues, and working with our security team to address security vulnerabilities/incidents detected. This position will require you to also work on and manage large IT projects and consult with clients. In addition, you will also be required to be an escalation point to junior engineers for technical questions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of the networking platform
    • Troubleshooting of network & system issues
    • Implementation of new hardware, software or cloud products
    • Planning and coordinating ongoing projects
    • Responding to client IT support tickets and answering calls
    • Monitor active network and server infrastructure
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
    • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
    • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
    • Document all technical procedures and user guides
    • Assisting customers with hardware and software challenges
    • Daily communication with the team to ensure all tickets are being addressed promptly
    • Utilization of ticketing system and keeping detailed notes of work completed
    • Coordinating with security team on incident reports and vulnerabilities detected

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years or more experience in IT related environments
    • College Degree in IT or related field
    • Must be Customer Service Oriented
    • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
    • Previous experience as a network or systems administrator
    • Knowledge of TCP/IP, data protocols, and Microsoft Active Directory
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Experience with Cisco, Sonicwall, Ubiquiti, Office 365, AWS, Azure, VOIP Phone Systems, Synology, Shoretel, 3CX, QuickBooks, and other products a plus
    • Certifications are a plus
