Position Summary
This position is an officer level position responsible for overseeing the bank’s technology infrastructure and ensuring that IT systems run efficiently, securely, and support business goals. Additionally, this position will manage the IT Team, plan and implement technology strategies, oversee network and applications, coordinate with other departments to align IT solutions, budgeting, and vendor management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide information technology leadership and facilitate training.
- Develop and maintain information security policies, procedures and documentation.
- Monitor policies and practices to ensure that confidential information is secure from unauthorized access.
- Establish information security objectives and goals.
- Recommend technology and information resource solutions.
- Prepare IT Budget for review/approval by Board of Directors.
- Serve as the project coordinator for IT projects.
- Oversees the preparation of IT reports.
- Coordinate with the Bank’s outsourced vendors.
- Responsible for audit and examination preparation and remediation.
- Supervise Information Technology department.
- Assist with risk management procedures in the event of cyber breach.
- Communicate Information Security incidents, alerts and regulatory guidance to the Board and Management.
- Oversee customer information security and cybersecurity training.
- Supports the Bank’s Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plan administrator.
- Perform periodic access reviews.
- Perform periodic application reviews.
- Monitor the accuracy and integrity of departmental reports.
- Acts as an escalation contact for more complex issues.
- Participates in special projects.
- Accounts Payable.
- Ensure the bank’s IT Strategic plan aligns with corporate plan.
- Oversee application administration and maintenance.
- Keep hardware up to date.
- Administers the Bank's ticketing system.
- Serve as an escalation point for the IT department.
- Administers the Bank's server environment, LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, Intranet, and telco circuits.
- Conduct and/or oversee new employee orientation.
- Maintain / control budget for IT expenses.
- Support CEOs special projects.
- Responsible for the evaluation of vendor hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment products.
- Participates as a member of the Bank's incident response team.
- Chair IT Steering committee.
- Maintains advanced knowledge and awareness of financial industry technical status and trends.
- Vendor Management.
- Follow established audit, security, and compliance guidelines.
- Perform various other duties as required by management.
Required Knowledge and Expertise
- College degree or equivalent relevant job experience.
- Maintain CCBTO certification or ability to obtain.
- Ability to deal with difficult technical problems involving multiple facets, variables and situations
- General working knowledge of the compliance laws/regulation regarding deposit/loan accounts.
- Knowledge of bank core data processing system and loan and deposit software platforms.
- Ability to work on a computer for extended hours at a time.
- Ability to stand, sit or bend for long periods of time.
- Demonstrate initiative and strong motivation for success.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered.
