    Position Summary

    The IT Operations Coordinator position is a full-time, non-exempt position located in Grand Junction. This position, while based out of Grand Junction, will perform duties for the entire Bank. This position will primarily focus on vendor management, IT projects, business processes, and more. This position will work in tandem with the rest of the IT Department to ensure cross-training of essential tasks.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Vendor management including reviewing contracts, annual vendor reviews, ensuring insurance and necessary documentation is up to date, researching and vetting potential new vendors, etc.
    • Participate in or lead projects for the IT Department and in Bank-wide projects that require IT involvement.
    • Create and update internal controls and business processes.
    • Primary contact responsible for updating and facilitating use of company intranet.
    • Serve as part of the Business Continuity Planning Committee, taking initiative to facilitate topics of discussion, identify potential areas of risk, researching solutions, etc.
    • Reviewing and keeping record of employee assets (company cell phone, company laptop, etc.).
    • Audit research and documentation preparation, as well as remediation of audit findings.
    • Facilitate employee training on the introduction of new software or updates, ensuring seamless integration and usage within all departments.
    • Engage in IT Committees, providing valuable input and assisting in the execution of committee decisions.
    • Assume a role in the Incident Response Plan (IRP), proactively identifying potential IT risks and coordinating responses to incidents.
    • Manage asset tracking, ensuring all IT assets within the organization are accurately accounted for, from acquisition and deployment to maintenance and disposal.
    • Provide quality customer service promptly and courteously at all times.
    • Follow established audit, security and compliance guidelines and Bank policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations as well as internal policies.
    • Perform job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal and state rules and regulations as applicable to the position.
    • Duties may be expanded on as experience and professional goals are achieved.

    Preferred Knowledge and Expertise:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience desired.
    • Ability to work on a computer for extended hours at a time and ability to stand or sit for long periods of time, ability to lift 50 lbs.
    • Must have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Proven attention to detail.
    • Ability to work unsupervised.
    • Ability to travel to Aspen and Montrose locations as needed.
    • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and anticipate potential problems before they arise.
    • Strict adherence to deadlines and strong problem-solving skills.
    • General understanding of the following applications is preferred: Windows Client/Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365.

    **Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Incentives based on Timberline Team goals may also be offered.
