    Position Summary
    This position is responsible for supporting the general business functions, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and related technologies. They must have knowledge of security, storage, virtualization, disaster recovery, business continuity, network, VoIP, mobile & web enabled applications. The position will support implementation of a hybrid cloud strategy focusing on IaaS, PaaS and SaaS instances.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Resolve technical issues with operating systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity. Answer and respond to IT Service phone calls, emails, and IMs, and is the escalation point for end-user technology questions and provides general information regarding departmental computing policies and service agreements to customers.
    • Coordinate, execute, support, and deliver Operational and IT projects to completion ensuring documentation, milestones, timelines, and communication are kept up-to-date.
    • Recommend and participate in the development of Service Desk process improvements, process mapping and related documentation, and communication of new processes, while leading efforts to implement enhancements, including engaging in partnerships with Operations understanding the business, its activities, current and future, to advise and contribute to the enhancement of technology best practices.
    • Manage the onsite computing equipment inventory utilizing active knowledge of what devices are being used and its purposes.
    • Guide IT Service team in best practices of technical support and customer service, while providing best practices and training to end users.
    • Research, evaluate, test, and recommend new technologies and processes to improve usability and reduce cost.
    • Research and develop security solutions in IT networks and systems. Works with security vendors and solution providers to determine the tools and techniques required for those solutions.
    • Respond to security alerts and incidents.
    • Performs security reviews and gap analyses for internal controls and external vendors.
    • Advanced implementation, support and troubleshooting experience within the Office 365 suite of services.
    • Implementation, support and troubleshooting experience of firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
    • After hours and some weekend work is expected as required

    Minimum Required Qualifications

    • Associates degree or higher or eight (8) years’ experience in information technology in an enterprise-level environment.
    • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto.
    • Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki.
    • Strong understanding of Windows server platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
    • Bachelors preferred

    Skills/Abilities

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
    • Proficient with computing hardware, including mobile devices and hand-held devices
    • Proficient in Enterprise Networking.
    • Proficient in Server Architecture.
    • Proficient in Cybersecurity.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to constantly adapt in a dynamic environment.
    • Broad background including cloud security, SIEM, Firewalls, Intrusion prevention systems, next-gen AV, Incident Management, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
