Job Title: IT Project Coordinator
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Quincy, MA USA 02171.
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Pay range : $40 to $46/Hour on W2 basis
Job Description:
Coordinate and support projects throughout the project lifecycle
Support project management activities. Assist project managers with project issues and risks to prevent potential barriers to project.
Collaborate with business analysts and business owners to help define the project scope and objectives.
Follow up on status of tasks across all IT teams, as requested by the project manager(s), escalate as needed.
Prepare and submit correct documentation into system’s used by the agency.
Review with agency and other IT teams project schedules and milestone dates.
Help create and maintain relevant project artifacts such as project charter/scope, project plans, back log list, stories, status reports and operational checklists.
Requirements:
Minimum two (2) years of experience working in IT environments
Practical experience creating and implementing project plans and schedules according to project goals and objectives.
Working knowledge of project management concepts as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Hands-on experience effectively using MS Office tools
Hands-on experience in managing escalated issues and dispute resolution of any components of a project with the ability to understand when to escalate issues to senior management.
Prior Government or Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required
Understanding and knowledge of Agile methodology and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
