Manifest Solutions is currently seeking an IT Project Manager for an onsite position in Columbus, OH.
- Accountable for the execution of Information Technology (IT) projects of moderate size, risk, and complexity.
- Employs their skills, talents, and knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g. Scrum, waterfall) to assure high quality products are delivered while optimizing the cost and delivery of value.
- Maintains complete transparency on the current state of the project, and maintains complete transparency on the forecast cost and delivery.
- Enables project stakeholders to make good business decisions based on project transparency.
- Coaches the project team members on the art of project execution as it pertains to the project management framework being utilized.
- Enables and promotes team level continuous improvement activities that increase quality and optimize delivery of value.
- Verify project scope and determine methods of managing and controlling
- Plan, estimate, schedule and trend the less complex project
- Estimate, budget and control project cost
- Develop, implement and manage quality assurance programs
- Identify and manage project risk
- Develop and manage procurement plans
- Coaches team members on project management skills and techniques
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, OR Associate's degree with 2 years' of related technical/project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of related business or technical/project management experience.
- 7+ years of experience managing projects that impact cross functional business areas.
- Certification or degree aligned with project management discipline (PMP, or Scrum Master cert preferred)
- Experience managing teams.
- Strong organization & communication skills.
- Experience with water fall and scrum methodology.
- Experience managing projects for Supply Chain & Purchasing business is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience with Executive level status reporting
- Experience with MS Project and Jira a plus
- Experience with multiple project types (e.g., in-house development, vendor, off-shore) is expected.
- Knowledge and experience using multiple project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Waterfall) is a plus.
- Promotes continuous improvement within the project team
- Communicate effectively with peers, business partners, and mid-level management
