Job Description

The DEVOPS ENGINEER will support, maintain, and develop capabilities in multiple cloud environments.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Optimize platform for maximum speed and scalability 
• Maintain the DevOps pipeline process and supporting technology 
• Participate in internal security reviews and assessments 
• Assist in completion of external security assessments
• Implement new functionality and maintain the platform
• Formulate approaches to customer needs in a standard, scalable way
• Interface with customers and third party vendors as needed

Qualifications

Successful candidates will be well-versed in the architecture of applications on AWS and Azure including experience in designing for high availability, building multi-AZ and multi-region architectures, and data layer/messaging technologies in a Linux/Windows environment.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience designing and maintaining firewalls, NAT rules, AWS VPCs, and Azure VNets 
• Knowledge of networking technologies (Layer 2 & 3 switches, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.) 
• Scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, PowerShell, etc. 
• Familiar with the Java application stack including Apache Tomcat 
• A firm grasp on AWS native cloud security leveraging Linux and Windows operating systems, using the AWS console and CLI
• Experience with infrastructure, security and application monitoring tools
