Job Description

The SENIOR DATA ARCHITECT will design, architect, lead and build Proof of Concepts in Azure, GCP and AWS cloud.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Optimize for throughput, concurrency, load and performance with best practices for SQL queries, caching, indexing strategies and other performance best practices.
• Work closely with a team of engineers, and developers to create functional design specifications.
• Lead and develop best practices for larger Cloud Engineering team.
• Cost monitoring and cost optimization of cloud services.
• Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
• Help to manage the planning, implementation, and growth of cloud footprint.
• Work closely with developers and engineers to recommend and design database or data storage solutions including migration of databases.
• Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development.
• Development of automated solutions to monitor and support our software development and release processes.
