Need an IT Service Desk Technician in Northampton, MA, (Only 19 miles drive from Springfield, MA)

Job Title: IT Service Desk Technician

Your daily activities include:

· Participate in the IT Service Center

· Providing technical support and troubleshooting services

· Register/update tickets (Incidents/Requests etc.)

· Distribute incoming tickets (Triage)

· Install and configure hardware and software

· Managing Assets (Computer Warranty)

· IT warehouse and inventory management

· Providing training and guidance to users as needed

· Escalation of issues to the right parties if necessary

· Participate in project work

· Stay up to date with the latest IT trends and developments

· Provide support in areas of Windows and iOS.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

· MBO Level 3+ or at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

· Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware and software

· Software experience:

· IT Service Management Tooling

· Windows Active Directory

· Azure Active Directory

· Intune device management (is an advantage)

· Windows 10/11

· MacOS (is an advantage)

· iPhone, iOS

· Office 365 admin center

· Office 365-apps, Teams, SharePoint, etc.

· Ability to diagnose and resolve technical and network issues

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Ability to work well in a team environment

· Comfortable patching new network ports (is a plus)

· Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) (is a plus)

Engagement terms:

· Location: Northampton, MA, USA (Only 19 miles drive from Springfield, MA)

• Hourly rate on 1099: $22-25/hr.
• Candidates should require having a Professional and general liability insurance that is typical of an independent contractor for 1099. It is quite cheap and easy to get this insurance.
• Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00
• 40 hours per week
• Duration: 6 months
• Start Date: – ASAP
• Must pass standard background investigation & drug screening
