Job Title: IT Specialist Location: On-site Department: Information Technology Reports to: IT Manager
Job Summary We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on IT Specialist to manage, maintain, and support our company’s technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations, supporting employees with technical issues, and helping keep our systems secure, efficient, and scalable as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support for employees (hardware, software,
network, and account issues)
Set up, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, and other
office equipment
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (email, Slack, Google
Workspace/Microsoft 365, etc.)
Maintain and monitor networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and security systems
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or service providers
when needed
Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees from an IT perspective
Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and best practices
Ensure data security, backups, and compliance with company policies
Support office moves, expansions, and new technology rollouts
Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems and workflows
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
Strong knowledge of macOS and some Windows environments
Experience with networking basics (routers, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
Familiarity with cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom)
Experience with Apple Business Manager, MDM, or device enrollment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer-service mindset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
Experience supporting retail, warehouse, or multi-location environments
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, Apple)
