    Job Title: IT Specialist

    Job Summary:
    This position will help manage IT projects and timelines while supporting the overall technology needs of the company. This role will oversee hardware and software initiatives, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors, and drive process improvements. Additional responsibilities include user onboarding, setup, phone system administration, and ensuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day IT operations.

    This role will be working with a diversified technology team that is comprised of diversified backgrounds. This position is built for someone with a good technology background, but wants to expand themselves in areas of interest that could consist of networking, security, databases, and work with APIs and programming in Python. This is a great opportunity for a person who loves to learn and expand themselves while working in a creative work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    User Support & Equipment Management:

      • Complete new user requests and manage equipment needs.
      • Order, assess, clean, test, and distribute equipment, including emergency loaner laptops, and inventory management.
      • Communicate IT procedures, policies, and equipment setup to users.
    • System Administration & Support:
      • Manage phone system tasks, including user setup, troubleshooting, and training.
      • Track and manage IT tasks such as equipment orders, Adobe, Bitwarden, and other software issues.
      • Maintain accurate inventory and manage the return of equipment.
    • IT Vendor Coordination:
      • Act as the liaison for third-party MSP services, tracking to-do lists, and communicating IT issues.
      • Work with the MSP to manage IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
    • Cybersecurity & Software Licensing:
      • Monitor and manage Microsoft and Adobe licenses, ensuring proper revocation when necessary. Assist with security audits (i.e. NIST), incident response plans, WISP, Disaster Recovery procedures, and cybersecurity training.
    • Business Analysis & Project Management
      • Partner with the business to gather requirements and analyze processes to help identify and implement system and workflow improvements.
      • Coordinate technology projects, managing timelines, resources, and communication between teams and vendors.
      • Assist in evaluating and recommending new tools and technologies to support evolving business needs.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Proficient in hardware troubleshooting, equipment management, and basic software support.
    • Knowledge of phone system administration.
    • Experience with inventory management and coordinating IT services.
    • Exposure to cybersecurity best practices.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete projects in a timely manner.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science-related field required; master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
    • At least three years of related experience.

    $60,000-$80,000 per year
