Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in configuring, customizing, and supporting enterprise-level Atlassian tool suites. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong technical proficiency in integration, automation, and team leadership within large organizational environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, and associated tools, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and alignment with enterprise workflows.
Responsibilities
· Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo in an enterprise environment.
· Manage and customize Atlassian products to support large-scale deployments and complex workflows.
· Integrate Atlassian tools with enterprise systems including CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
· Develop and implement automation solutions using Jira Automation, scripting, and REST APIs.
· Lead a team of administrators, providing support, training, and guidance on Atlassian tools and best practices.
· Oversee user management, permissions, and security configurations aligned with organizational policies.
· Ensure tools are optimized for performance and scalability and are in compliance with enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) at the enterprise level.
· At least 5 years’ experience in enterprise-level configuration and customization of Atlassian tools.
· Demonstrated expertise in tool integration and process automation, including scripting and REST API usage.
· At least 2 years of leadership experience, including team oversight and tiered support management.
· Strong understanding of enterprise workflows, security, and permissions management.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

The candidate shall be available to come on-site to the CJIS facility in Clarksburg, WV to pick up equipment and attend in-person meetings as needed. Travel costs will not be reimbursed to support remote telework.
