A prestigious entertainment services company seeks an IT Support Analyst to join their dynamic team. The IT Support Analyst 1 provides frontline technical support to company employees across local offices and remote locations. This tactical, hands-on role ensures stability of Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 services, RingCentral, Dell hardware, and essential IT systems. The ideal candidate delivers exceptional customer service in a fast-paced entertainment and studio environment.
Responsibilities
Technical Support & Operations
- Provide Tier 1 support for Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 apps, printers, and workstation issues.
- Perform imaging, provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle maintenance for Dell laptops/desktops.
- Support Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive), including mailbox setup and license assignments.
- Troubleshoot basic Cisco Meraki networking issues (Wi-Fi, switching, VPN) and escalate when necessary.
- Support RingCentral voice platform including user setup, routing changes, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Assist with helpdesk ticket management, ensuring timely responses within SLAs.
- Support printers, scanners, AV equipment, and peripherals.
- Provide hands-on support for conference rooms, production/studio environments, and meeting setups.
- Travel to local offices or warehouses as needed for onsite troubleshooting.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. of equipment (racks, PCs, monitors) when required.
User Lifecycle & Administration
- Perform user onboarding/offboarding including account creation and equipment deployment.
- Process equipment returns, access changes, and account deactivation.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in continuous learning and cross-training on new technologies.
- Assist with adoption of Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, and networking enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in helpdesk, desktop support, or IT support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10 and 11.
- Hands-on support experience with Dell laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and learn new technologies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills
- Cisco Meraki (Wi-Fi, switching, MX appliance basics).
- Intune/Azure AD/Entra ID experience.
- RingCentral administration experience.
- Studio or entertainment IT support experience.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
Working Conditions
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (assigned by IT).
- Occasional local travel to company offices or studio locations.
- Ability to work flexible hours during production or high-demand periods.
