    JOB STATEMENT

    The IT Support Specialist II provides help desk support by responding to, tracking, and resolving tickets. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining desktop computers, laptops, applications, and peripheral equipment.

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Troubleshoots hardware/software issues and performs on-site diagnostics.
    • Installs, tests, and maintains systems and applications
    • Sets up user accounts and administers Active Directory
    • Installs and repairs hardware/software (e.g. RAM, hard drives)
    • Supports server administration as needed
    • Trains staff on basic IT tools (Outlook, phones, etc.)
    • Maintains documentation for troubleshooting

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education: * High school diploma required; IT certifications or degrees a plus
    • Experience: * 0-3 years depending on education/certifications
    • Knowledge: * MDM, imaging, Active Directory, and cloud apps background preferred
    • Skills: * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills * Detail oriented * Data entry * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) * Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.
    • Abilities: * Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language. * Ability to sit for majority of the shift. * Must be able to bend or stoop. * Must be able to lift 40 lbs. unassisted. * Must have good vision (e.g, near acuity and depth perception)
    • Other: * Must be able to work some Saturdays and travel locally. * Flexible schedule and must keep up with required immunizations and testing as required by the organization.
