** Role Description**
The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the stability, integrity, and optimal performance of enterprise systems to ensure reliable support of WireCo’s business operations. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all system software and associated operating environments.

** Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist in the administration of Windows and Linux servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security; respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner
- Support patch management, backups, disaster recovery plans, and endpoint configuration
- Collaborate on infrastructure projects, upgrades, and integrations with senior engineers
- Maintain accurate system documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Work closely with Help Desk and Application teams to resolve system-related issues
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for system enhancements, optimizations, and cost efficiencies
