Remarcable, Inc. is seeking an organized and hands-on IT Systems & Security Administrator for our fast-growing SaaS company. This is a high-impact role supporting our internal team’s (primarily macOS) technology needs. This position is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, hardware and software provisioning, responding to help desk requests, and collaborating on cybersecurity and compliance initiatives. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role will be in-person at our office in Omaha, NE.
The ideal candidate is a proven problem solver who is proactive, responsive, and familiar with Mac and Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and cybersecurity standards. As our first IT hire, the experience you bring will be invaluable in helping us shape our IT support structure.
Key Responsibilities
Device Management & Provisioning: Set up and manage Macs and Windows laptops, ensure proper onboarding/offboarding of users.
Office & Network Infrastructure: Maintain office network (Wi-Fi, firewalls, printers, conference room setups); troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Software & License Management: Administer licenses for SaaS platforms (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, etc.).
Identity & Access Management: Manage user accounts, SSO, MFA, and identity policies across tools.
Cybersecurity & Compliance: Partner with Engineering to manage endpoint protection, implement policies using MDM and Microsoft Purview, and support SOC2 / ISO 27001 readiness.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs, and software providers.
Documentation & Process Building: Create IT policies, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
Ad Hoc Support: Provide tech support for employees and help troubleshoot productivity tools.
Who You Are
3+ years of IT generalist experience, ideally in a cloud-first or SaaS startup environment.
An associate degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, would be preferred.
Strong experience with macOS and Windows device management (Jamf & Intune).
High familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and SSO (Teams, Sharepoint, and Azure AD).
Working knowledge of networking (Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, firewalls).
Experience implementing or supporting cybersecurity programs (endpoint protection, access controls, phishing defense - using Jamf, Defender, Purview).
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and basic troubleshooting for Mac and PC environments.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
Comfortable working independently and building IT processes from scratch.
Experience supporting compliance frameworks like SOC2 is a plus, as is scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
Certifications that support the above skills, such as those from CompTIA or Microsoft, would also be a plus.

Starting Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per year Bonus: Annual

PTO: Two weeks per year in the 1st year
