Brent Industries is seeking a motivated IT Technician to join our expanding team. As the primary point of contact for technical support, you will play a key role in maintaining our infrastructure and ensuring our hardware and software systems operate at peak performance. Duties and Responsibilities
• Help desk: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to hardware and software. • Hardware Maintenance: Set up, configure, and maintain workstations and network appliances (laptops, tablets, monitors, and peripherals). • Software Maintenance: Assist in identifying software bugs and work towards permanent fixes. • Security: Ensure all devices are updated with the latest security patches and antivirus software.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Proficiency with Windows and Android OS’s • Basic understanding of Networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications • An aptitude for "low-level" AI models (understanding prompt engineering or basic automation tools) • Initiative-taking, able to independently work effectively and efficiently • Attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate professionally with other team members • Technical support experience or associate’s degree preferred
