    Reports to : IT Field Manager

    Location: In office, at one of our store locations in the Texas, Missouri or Kentucky areas. Frequent travel across state lines is required.

    Job Summary

    Oil Changers is America's leading independent quick lube operator. As a Private Equity-backed organization, we have aggressive growth targets for the next three years in a multi-state environment and seek a highly organized, technically savvy, self-motivated IT Technician to be an integral part of the IT Team driving company growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide first level telephone support, analyze reported issues and problem solve customer issues with empathy and patience, while maintaining composure under pressure.

    • Troubleshoot Point of Sale (POS) software using Windows Operating Systems.

    • Troubleshoot Hardware including workstations, peripherals, and networking equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and configure Windows Operating Systems.

    • Provide weekday, night and weekend support coverage as required.

    • Uses logic and methods as necessary to solve difficult problems and provide accurate solutions.

    • Work well independently with good multi-tasking and organizational abilities.

    • Interfaces with customers over the phone providing status updates and ensuring service has been restored.

    • Escalates appropriate technical issues to upper-level technical support when needed.

    • Must be a consistently flexible, independent, self-motivated problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills when working with both internal and external customers.

    • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required.

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues.

    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.

    • Set up and configure network devices, including routers, switches, and access points

    • Install and manage camera systems (Will Train)

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
    • Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems.
    • Familiarity with network configuration, including routers and switches.
    • Ability to learn and manage security camera systems.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.

    Compensation:

    Starting hourly pay is $20. Compensation for travel is provided.
