Job Title: Administrator, IT Vendor and Contract
Duties: Develop and implement the strategic sourcing and IT vendor relationship strategies. Work closely within IT to serve as the IT point of contact for product and service contract support, analysis, and negotiations. Responsible for the financial practices and procedures associated with the management of these contracts.
•50% Reviews existing and new IT vendor contracts preparing redlines to legal terms where needed in contracts. Negotiates contract terms and conditions with vendor and internal customers ensuring mandatory government laws, regulations, corporate policies and procedures are adhered to. Consults with internal legal counsel in review of the contract terms and conditions for new/amended contracts and change orders. Documents and approves amendments that arise during implementation or execution. Evaluate and determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of acquiring IT hardware, software, and services. Ensure contracts/licenses will cover potential scope and use of IT hardware, software, and services.
•40% Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and ROI metrics and initiating
contract modifications. Monitors existing contracts, renegotiations, and renewal agreements during the duration of the contract without lapse of coverage/service. Ensures compliance with the contracts’ terms and conditions. Educate vendors and internal customers on processes affecting evaluations, risk, audits, etc.
•10% Qualifies vendors and provides information needed to maintain an appropriate vendor database and tracking system to manage the contract life cycle process.
Skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Basic understanding of all technical product and service needs across the enterprise. Strong negotiation skills. Strong customer service orientation. Strong knowledge of financial and/or contractual modeling techniques. Able to maintain knowledge of changing technologies. Able to support multiple contracts and complex enterprise agreements. Able to be creative in recommending contracts that offer the best near- and long-term value for IT.

Day to Day: This role supports the full contract lifecycle. Responsibilities include reviewing new business purchase requests, requesting quotes, reviewing terms and conditions withing quotes, statements of work, and other contracts. Coordination and tracking of upcoming renewals. Work closely with the internal business owner and technology owners on contract renewals. The position requires proficiency in tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and our current system of record ICD for tracking and reporting. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with partnering teams daily, such as IS Procurement, Legal Dept., Asset Services, and Vendor Management. Additionally, the role involves monitoring performance against SLAs, supporting meetings with documentation, and identifying potential compliance risks to maintain organizational standards.
