Job Title: IT Finance Specialist
Job Summary:
The IT Finance Specialist is responsible for managing the financial planning, budgeting, and analysis of IT-related expenses within an organization. This role serves as the bridge between finance and IT departments, ensuring cost efficiency, financial compliance, and strategic decision-making regarding technology investments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage IT budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Track and analyze IT expenditures, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis for IT projects, software, hardware, and infrastructure investments.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize IT spending and resource allocation.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Manage IT financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Evaluate cost-benefit analysis for new IT initiatives and vendor contracts.
• Assist in procurement decisions, negotiating contracts with IT vendors and service providers.
• Monitor IT-related risks, including financial and operational risks.
• Support internal and external audits related to IT financial transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 5 - 10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on budget analysis. Not interested in candidates with experience greater than 10 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT operations
• Proficient in data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
