Job Description:
Location: 1980 West Broad St, Columbus, OH (Onsite - 5 days a week) The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking an experienced IT Consultant 1 (ITC1) to join their Information Technology ServiceNow Delivery Team. This role will primarily support ServiceNow-related tasks and will involve configuring and maintaining ServiceNow PSDS, integrating it with external applications, and providing support for IT Security audits. The ITC1 will also be responsible for solution development, Service Catalog item development, and collaborating with project management for technical solutions and design reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
· Configure ServiceNow PSDS to meet specific requirements.
· Maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external applications.
· Provide support for IT Security audits.
· Develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
· Develop Service Catalog items.
· Consult with program/project management on technical solutions and requirements.
Experience & Skills Required:
· 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience using server and client-side APIs.
· 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience using Forms, workflows, and Service Portal.
· 3+ years of role/group-based ACLs configuration and debugging.
· 2+ years of experience building custom workflows.
· 2+ years of Service Portal development (Widgets, Service Portal Pages, AngularJS).
· Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, including platform issues and using browser-based debugging tools (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
· Experience with data integration, mapping, transformations, bulk data import/export, and mass updates.
· Ability to work in an Agile project management environment.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· IT consulting experience preferred.
Desired Certifications:
· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
· ITIL V3 Foundations Certification.
Additional Requirements:
· Must be local to Ohio and able to work onsite at 1980 West Broad St, Columbus, a minimum of 5 days a week.
· Prohibition on taking or using government equipment outside the United States.
