Title: Backend Java Developer Location: Richfield, MN - must be local to MN and can work onsite occasionally Duration: 7 month contract, potential extension Position Summary/Job Description: In this role, they will be a critical member of the team building the foundation for our next generation web platform. They will support and extend running applications & assist in the design and development of new applications. They will be expected to evaluate and refactor in a rapid manner for every part of our infrastructure. Overall knowledge of designing an application to run on a scalable platform is expected. Responsibilities: • Developing Java/Spring web applications • Aggressive refactoring • Object Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architecture design Top skills: 3+ years of experience in all of these 1. Java / Groovy 2. Spring / Spring Boot 3. GCP Cloud 4. Distributed Computing 5. SQL Nice to have skills 1. Jenkins pipelining - Continuous Integration/Delivery 2. Apache Beam 3. Kafka 4.
