About the Parts and Inventory Coordinator position
We are looking for a competent parts buyer and inventory specialist to select and purchase lines of products on behalf of our company. The role is very important since our repair and maintenance activities cannot begin without the necessary stock.
The quality and pricing of products as well as proper analysis and oversight of inventory are essential for our success. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be a responsible individual with great attention to detail. As a part and inventory specialist, you will also need to negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive prices.
The goal is to ensure that the business will always have adequate stock that meets its requirements. That way we can deliver value to our customers through high-quality products and facilitate sustainable growth.
Parts and Inventory Coordinator responsibilities are:
Identifying excellent options in the market
Making reasonable choices with the ordering of products
Maintaining a good relationship with suppliers
Identifying new products on the market
Negotiating well with suppliers to get the best deals on products
Tracking products and ensuring timely delivery
Monitoring inventory
Creating reports on budgets, sales,etc.
Going to events to know what's trending
Data Entry into Maintenance Software
Maintenance and upkeep of equipment files
Parts and Inventory Specialist requirements are:
Experience as an Inventory and Parts associate- preferably for heavy-duty trucks
Able to handle inventory/stocks
Good mathematical skills
Effective communication skills
Good organizational skills
Proficient at MS Office
High school diploma or relevant certificate
