 POSITION SUMMARY:

Seeking Rising Juniors with graduation dates of December 2024-May of 2025. The ITW Product Marketing Internship will be located at our corporate location in Glenview, IL from mid May until beginning of August 2023.  This role will work cross functionally between Product Management and Marketing Communications in a variety of core projects building skills in the areas of research, analytics, project management, external marketing, and collaboration. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.
• Discover effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers.
• Drive business results through the population of data within our PIM Management Software.

EXPECTED LEARNINGS:

• Marketing material creation
• Marketing campaign roll-out

Qualifications

• SCHOOL ENROLLMENT: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• OFFICE SUITES: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.  
• CRITICAL THINKING & DECISION MAKING: Ability to make logical and sound decisions and ability to know when to act independently and when to seek assistance.
• CURIOSITY & LEARNING ORIENTATION:  Actively identifying new areas for learning and applying newly gained knowledge/skill on the job.
• DRIVE TO EXCEL:  Driven to succeed and willing to go the extra mile.  Perseveres in the face of obstacles and challenges.
• INTERPERSONAL SKILLS & COMMUNICATION:  Ability to work collaboratively and partner well with others, express oneself verbally and in writing, and listen well.
