ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Hobart Sales and Marketing Division has an excellent opportunity for a MIS or Computer Science major to gain practical experience in their field as an Application Development Intern. As an intern, you will be assigned to the programming team working on a new Microsoft based computer system for the business. Through collaboration with internal partners, you will initially be assigned to develop and customize security roles for each user of this new system.

This internship requires analytical and problem-solving aptitude along with some technical and design skills. As an intern, you will need to be motivated, detail oriented and analytical.

SOME OF THE EXPERIENCE YOU WILL GAIN DURING THIS INTERNSHIP IS:

Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (D365) and customize security roles using Visual Studio.

Develop test scripts and work instructions using D365 tools such as the Task Recorder and Lifecycle Services. 

Create reports to support the new D365 ERP application using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Qualifications

LOCATION: Applicants must be located within a 50-mile radius of our location. We will not be relocating candidates.

EDUCATION:  Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or technical degree requiring software development skills.

SOFTWARE: MS Office Suite and Excel, knowledge of database, TSQL, and relational data modeling preferred
