    The International Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our international customer base. The individual will be the main point of contact for international customers and will work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a full-time hourly position working out of our Beecher, IL facility.

    ** Essential Functions:**

    • Provide best-in-class customer service to international customers via email and phone.

    • Build strong and meaningful relationships with international customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

    • Partner with logistics, quality control, manufacturing, and purchasing departments to ensure product availability.

    • Tracking orders to ensure the product(s) are shipped on time.

    • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

    • Collaborate with other departments, including sales and marketing, to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.

    • Continuously strive to improve customer service processes and procedures.

    • Create PO(s) in Tregaskiss MLE.

    • Use Precision software for the creation of international shipping documents.

    • Partner with sales and external contacts to meet customer needs and develop meaningful, and impactful relationships.

    • Manage inbound calls to assist customers and sales teams with product, delivery, and account assistance.

    • Efficient and accurate entry of orders into our system.

    • Work effectively through email, quotes, and product recommendations

    • Make sure shipments comply with US Customs Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) with filling in Electronic Export Information (EEI)

    • Work with forwarders to arrange delivery/pickup and export.

    • Process invoices for shipped orders.

    • Ability to provide support for the domestic group as needed.

    • Additional duties not listed above.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education Requirements:

    • Post-Secondary Education preferred.

    ** Experience & Skills:**

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an international setting

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external customers.

    • High level of adaptability to different cultures and customs

    • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. Must be a team player.

    • Ability to make sound, customer-oriented decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    • Demonstrate ability to multi-task with a high level of comfort using multiple systems.

    • Knowledge of international shipping and logistics is a plus.
