    Job Description

    Position Summary:

    The Accounting Intern for ITW Commercial Construction North America will be responsible for specific accounting projects and tasks. This internship is designed to give a student hands-on exposure to a wide variety of analytical and specialized accounting responsibilities including: Financial Reporting, Prepaids, Accounts Payable & month-end activities.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Assist in projects related to preparation for new accounting system.
    • Help support Accounting Team with Data Cleansing/Simplification for new ERP implementation.
    • Generate reports & support Accounts Payable, Prepaids, P-Card/T&E, and month-end accounting activities.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • Rising Junior pursuing a degree within Accounting or Finance (Graduation dates Dec 2025-May 2026).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office with an emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, macros, etc.)
    • Coursework and/or understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), budgeting, balance sheets, cost control principals, and federal and state financial regulations.
    • Ability to analyze, summarize, and interpret financial data.
