• Commitment to a safe work environment
• Set up and shut down machine according to specifications of work order.
• Works on different types of equipment to carry out a particular phase of the production cycle
• Is responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition
• Must be able to learn to how  to operate industrial machines such as extruders, electrical hoist and tower equipment 
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work safely
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, write routine reports/correspondence
• Demonstrate good job attendance and punctuality
• Prior industrial manufacturing experience a plus, not required
• Mechanical aptitude preferred 
• Ability to work rotating schedule (1 month day / 1 month nights) on a 12 hour shift

WORK CONDITIONS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, reach outward, and drive; occasionally twist/turn, crawl, reach above shoulder, stand, walk, bend, and grasp with hands.
• The employee must carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and push and pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to bring object into sharp focus.
