    Job Description

    The Workday Solution Analyst is expected to be an integral part of the ITW Corporate HRIS team with a technical understanding of HCM & Talent solution options. The role is responsible for the daily support of Workday HCM, HR Reporting, Audits and the overall module’s designs, solutions, and efficient operation for a global operation that includes Americas, EMEA, APAC. 

    This person will act as an internal consultant to global HR stakeholders and be part of a team of Workday specialists that sit in Corporate HR and closely partner with Corporate Functions, Information Technology and Human Resource peer groups. You will be expected to closely collaborate with teammates across the globe and ensure we are maximizing our Workday investment and employee/HR experience. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide day-to-day operational support for Workday HCM solutions and other ancillary applications in use to support all tasks and activities that align with ITW’s Workday Roadmap.

    • Conduct testing and support user acceptance testing; assess and test Workday upgrades or integrations as appropriate.
    • Proactively recommend improvements to improve the end user experience and system process efficiency
    • Maintain accurate and current documentation regarding supported systems/applications.
    • Understand HR functions, as well as network technology functions and their terms, methodologies, and processes.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum education of Bachelor’s degree required
    • 5+ years of system experience, with 2+ years of Workday, Dayforce, PeopleSoft, or Success Factors experience working directly with HR Leaders and preferably in HCM & Talent Management 
    • Advanced Excel Skills, Data Modeling and/or Power BI knowledge
    • Depth of knowledge in Workday's core architecture including business process framework, security, and reporting
    • Experience working with Big Data, Data Warehousing, Power BI, and Advanced Excel Data Modeling
    • Ability to communicate technical solutions in simple business-friendly way terms
    • Ability to work independently in a diverse, fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
    • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and lead the more technical aspects of the discussion. 
    • Experience implementing systems in multiple regions, familiar with a global work environment
